Our Mission & Goal
Our mission is to instill in our dancers with strong core values such as discipline, determination, self-esteem, confidence, responsibility and respect for themselves and others. We strive for this in our students while maintaining a fun and supportive environment.
Our goal is to continue our dance education and keep up to date with the development in the styles and training techniques required in this constantly changing art. We understand that every dancer’s body, ability and level of commitment are different. We strive to implement our knowledge with each individual to improve their natural ability while they learn to love the wonderful art of dance.
Our Programs
Hip-hop dance refers to street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music or that have evolved as part of hip-hop culture. It includes a wide range of styles—primarily breaking, locking, and popping—which were created in the 1970s and made popular by dance crews in the United States.
To join our Dynamite Dance Team dancers must be between the ages of 5 and 18, and have danced for at least one year. Acceptance onto the team is by audition only. Ballet is a type of performance dance that originated in the Italian Renaissance courts of the 15th century and later developed into a concert dance form in France and Russia. It has since become a widespread, highly technical form of dance with its own vocabulary based on French terminology.
